For the past decade, Tracy Hauser has sustained and procured long-term support within numerous capacities— as Grant Writer for Maryland Public Television (MPT), Director of Public Relations for a non-profit horticultural therapy center, writing facilitator for retirees in Assisted Living communities, and as an English instructor in Baltimore City.

Within the past ten years she has prepared prospect pitches and proposal narratives. She continually generates new support through Wealth Engine and DonorSearch to gain insights into actionable donors’ giving histories.  She collects data for evaluative and reporting purposes, and secured the sponsorships necessary for satisfying operational costs and fulfilling quarterly revenue goals.

As an extension of her experience in Major & Planned Giving and Development, her MFA in Communications Design & Publishing Arts qualifies her to integrate objectives and outcomes into creative, reader-friendly web and print publications to maintain current funders and solidify new partnerships. As such, she aims to increase organizational networks and to  cement relationships with proprietary members of the community.

As Director of Public Relations & Development through Baltimore County's Office of Recreation & Parks she partnered with federal, state and local agencies for securing and surpassing quarterly and annual funding goals. This was evidenced in the most recent award through the Veterans Health Administration yielding $282k.  Such has allowed the non-profit to fully enact their project for financially and mentally rehabilitating 30 service members with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury.  Additionally, multiple foundational, state and national partnerships have secured the support necessary for transforming a floundering non-profit into an economically thriving 501(c)3.
